Say Hello to The Wrath Family!


  
 
The idea is...


Sometimes creative people need other creative people. Such is the case of "The Wrath Family". The idea stemming from a gentleman that works in the insulation industry. Blue-board insulation that is. Now, if you take just a second you might just imagine another strong color that stands out in the insulation business. AND if you continue down that path you will arrive at the iconic character associated with that color. HINT: dead-ant..... dead-ant....deadant-deadant-deadant....dead-ant..dead-annnnnnt.

Okay, enough of that, ANYWAY in the vein of healthy competitive fun the joke stemmed from the idea of rubbing out the "other guy" (below)
 


Fun ideas ensued and the puns just rolled right in. The drawing below is a kind of parody of ideas stemming from the whole "family" concept.

Enter Dominic Oscar Wrath a blue Kodiak bear, sort of a Godfather figure. Each of the characters represents a different product in the "family" of products offered by this company. Hence, The Wrath Family was born.

The drawings below are the rough submissions of each character. Oddly (dare I say happily) almost every character was accepted right off.




The above drawing is a copy of the end result. To date the client has used only one of the characters
in an advertising piece (see below) and more are on the drawing board but nothing else has been
completed as of this time. At any rate these guys are ready to role.
